The human Side of Alignment

Let’s have a transparent conversation. I’ve been upset, angry, and frustrated, but never fully let it show. Somewhere deep down, I forgot I was human to feel these emotions. I lead my business in helping other build intentional lives from the inside out and stand by my tagline “Stress-free living starts within… because your peace matters.” What I didn’t realize was that I had to experience emotions, stress, and all the things out of alignment to help others navigate theirs. That includes the sleepless nights, the anxiety, and the low days I don’t see coming. It shows that a purpose-led business, one driven by the soul requires heavy emotional lifting from its leader to fully be equipped to serve its mission. And I realize that sometimes I don’t vent enough. Sometimes I want things to be perfect and to have everything under control, but I promote truth in who you are, so why would that exclude me?

There’s this fantasy that leaders must be “above” emotion, showing a life that’s idealized instead of truth. Well, I’m not one of those leaders. I’m continuously learning that part of my responsibility as a leader is allowing myself to feel, not suppress. Clarity only comes in facing what bothers us on the inside and neglecting what bothers us only creates a life of long-term instability and internal chaos.

I’ll have these days where everything makes absolutely no sense and I feel out of alignment. Then I’m forced to surrender and things begin to make sense again. It’s me constantly being reminded that alignment doesn’t require me to fight, survive, or battle anything or anyone. It only requires me to be at peace that everything will flow as it’s supposed to as long as I keep showing up honestly as myself.

So, here’s my message to you… Let yourself be messy as long as you’re honest with yourself about it. Let yourself be angry, upset and frustrated, but don’t run away from it. Learn from it and grow with it. Alignment happens when all your colors are fully shown but met with grace and an intention to turn that lesson into someone else’s blessing. You deserve to continuously evolve into the person and life you want for yourself.

With Love and Intention,

Ash
