“Change your inner thoughts to the higher frequencies of love, harmony, kindness, peace, and joy, and you’ll attract more of the same.” -Dr. Wayne Dyer

What do you intend to do with the goals you have, the business you’re operating, the people you love? Your intentions will determine your outcome. Do you intend to change things for the well-being of others, or do you intend to change things for your own selfish benefit? If you have a negative intention behind your actions, you will find yourself with a negative outcome. If you have good intentions, it will unfold in a good way, in a timely fashion. More importantly, it will unfold when you are ready to take it on. I believe that we call this karma, but spiritually, we call it the law.

The Motive

The motive behind your intention is necessary to develop your growth. Within, we have to be in love. We have to be in a place of peace. How will you develop yourself with a motive of hate and selfishness? You don’t. You produce more hate and selfishness, not only within yourself but for the people that may look up to you. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, your intention should be to love yourself more, or to be healthier, not to become a show-off, or to get back at someone. When you think with the intention of selfishness, you’re only battling against yourself.

True Intentions

True intentions will show through your work, actions, and even your results. You may see reviews from customers on some business sites about how they could tell that the owner only wanted to make money and could careless about the people who buy from them. This is not an intention we want to give off. In anything we do, we should want it to come off as genuine, with passion, of love and truth. Being intentional for humanity will pay off. It builds trust from those around you personally and professionally.

Things to think about when setting your intentions… (Be honest with yourself)

  1. What are you doing it for?
  2. Is your heart in it?
  3. Are you doing it out of spite?
  4. How does what you’re doing benefit people around you?
  5. What does this intention you’re setting say about you?

The Law of Attraction works with the mind, as well as the intentions you have.

  1. Amen Ashley! I fully agree. Good honest intent and motive will always lead to a better outcome than negativity, selfishness, and grandstanding.

  2. Having read this I believed it was very informative. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this information together. I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
