“We are all physical, mental, and spiritual beings. If you don’t with all of life you are not going to get all that life has to offer.” -Zig Ziglar

Feeling Drained Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually

At some point, we all come across a time where we feel unbalanced in the three areas of our being: Mentally, physically, and spiritually. In this blog, I will give you some ways to find balance again.

Mental Balance

Mentally, ask yourself who do you allow in your space that assist with draining your energy. Unfortunately we allow people in our lives that takes from us way more than they give. Is there someone around you who’s ways rub off on you? How about someone who pressures you to be more like them, instead of yourself? Maybe there’s someone that makes you question your confidence?

Being aware of the type of people we allow in our space can help us from feeling negative. Negativity is an act of energy drainage. Clearing out things and people that causes low vibration within ourselves gives us a great boost of energy.

Physical Balance

Physically, go for a thirty-minute walk. If you are very busy and you’re constantly working or surrounded by four walls and no fresh air, you really aren’t allowing your body the energy it needs to keep you feeling refreshed. Going outdoors also gives you a chance to air out the feeling of being caged in.

Add more water to your daily intake. Water allows a good cleanse from all the sugar and salt we take in. Sugary and salty drinks and food make our bodies sluggish. We can obtain water in many different ways like fruits and vegetables.

Spiritual Balance

Spiritual practice is maybe the most unbalanced part of ourselves in my opinion. The country we live in is all about working, leaving our spiritual side neglected. Meditation of course is one way for us to stay connected spiritually.

Taking time away from the phone, television, really the everyday modern life and sitting in peace and quiet can help balance our connection to our inner selves. Sit and ask yourself questions and explore the depths of who you are.

The Avoided

Another way of feeling drained can be emotionally. A lot of people tend to avoid this part of themselves. Emotionally, dealing with whatever emotions we are feeling at the time can lift a huge weight off of our shoulders. It gives us a way to properly heal the things we have held onto for so long. Emotionally healing can bring clarity, joy, and enlightenment.

*Tip of the Blog*

Head out to a quiet coffee shop and actually just drink a beverage. Take some time away from reading, writing, or anything that involves you having to put thought into it. Take that time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. This allows you to release some tension you may have built up or release unwanted energy. It can give a boost of creativity as well because you’re giving yourself time to clear out some mental space.

  1. Great Day Family, really enjoyed this blog. Loved the way you specified the mental, physical, & spiritual balance.

I will practice more of this concept. Thank you for sharing. Something I heard helped as well, writing these things you have spoken and written about. Planning. I really appreciate this dialogue.

    When’s the next one?
