The Exchanging Impact Between Two Strangers

Story Time

The other day, a woman walks up to me and says, “I just need to talk to somebody.” She was an absolute stranger, but I was willing to listen. She started telling me things about her personal life and how she was tired. She was dealing with an eight-year relationship that had come to an end. Further she explained how she didn’t know what she was going to do, and it’s been rough for the past few months. You could clearly see how stressed out she was through her eyes. “It’s going to get better, trust me.”, I told her.

What She Didn’t Know

“You’re experiencing a breakthrough.”, I said as I smiled. I smiled because I saw this woman as a reflection of me a couple of years back. “You’re now realizing your worth and this is only the beginning.”, I further explained. She told me how she moved and changed herself for her spouse. I was in awe. It’s like I was given the opportunity to help someone with something I have experienced many times before. The amazing part about it was that she was placed in a situation that was giving her the opportunity to start over, build herself, and learn her truth.

 As we talked more, she had many reasons to break and give up, but the fact that she was standing in front of me and sharing her deepest feelings to a complete stranger was a start to the new journey she was faced with. I told her that she will be faced with many emotions during the healing process, and it wasn’t going to be a short run. She was about to encounter the journey of self-love and truth.

Someone Always Have A Similar Story

I told her a little bit about my similar situations in my past relationships as well so that she could feel comfortable and understand that she wasn’t alone. Sometimes it’s crucial to have these experiences so that we learn from them and become better for ourselves and others. It was important for her to feel at ease. Who knows if she will take the route of building herself and truly understand her worth? That’s not for me to judge. The message was delivered for her to know that there’s better for her, as I was proof of that, but it was up to her to not only be better for herself but to attract better as well.

At the end of our conversation, she told me that she appreciated me for listening and talking with her. Honestly, I appreciated her for making my day. Little did she know, I needed her story to nudge me into part of my purpose. As she walked away, she turned around and said, “Keep your head up Queen.” The energy was reciprocated.

You never know the impact you can have on someone. There’s a reason why this woman and I crossed paths. I had to give her the message that she was going to be okay. There was a blessing coming out of the storm. The message in this encounter wasn’t only for her, but for me as well. This is why I believe, ‘We are all connected to help one another through our own unique pathway. Everyone that we come across is someone we learn from, whether it’s something big or small.’

You Are A Queen

No matter the battles you go through, you grow from them. The pain that was endured in the moment of the ending of a cycle was only meant to build you. You are worthy. You all are Queens. In the moment of despair, say, ‘I am getting stronger.’ You are not broken, you are only under renovation. The stones were thrown at you to renovate the person you used to be and establish the foundation you are becoming. Each stone uniquely has an invisible engravement of a good characteristic you didn’t carry before. So when you find yourself in a place of emotions, know that it is okay to feel it, but also know that it is okay to learn from those emotions in order to build strength and grow into the Queen inside of you.
